Cornelius Acupuncture, serves the Lake Norman and Charlotte regions of North Carolina and is led by Kimiko Shimoda (MSOM, Dipl.O.M., LAc), who specializes in chronic and seemingly hopeless cases.

Kimiko Shimoda’s Story
Kimiko discovered the power of acupuncture when she was debilitated with migraines and chronic neck pain. She tried many things, but didn’t get consistent results. With acupuncture treatment, not only did her pain resolve, her stress level, digestion and sleep quality all improved.
Kimiko was so impressed with her results, she decided to become a licensed acupuncturist.
Kimiko has trained with globally renowned experts in the field of acupuncture and integrative medicine. Her goal is to help her patients recover their quality of life and live to the fullest. She specializes in chronic conditions and seemingly hopeless cases.
